Although many schools are test-optional, a large number require (or simply like to see) test scores from either the ACT or SAT exam. Scholarship money at many schools is often tied to test scores as well, including PSAT scores. Our test prep is comprehensive, strategy-based, and helps students learn which test is best for them and then how to maximize their points. Test preparation always starts with determining which test is right for the individual student: about 30% of students do much better on one test than the other!
SAT/PSAT Tutoring
The SAT (in the new, digital iteration sometimes known as the DSAT) is one of the two primary tests used in the admissions process. It is identical in format and similar in content to the PSAT, which students take junior year to qualify for National Merit recognition and scholarships.
Our SAT and PSAT students work with the materials provided by The College Board as well as via our state-of-the-art online platform and materials, which provide data-driven insights into exactly what skills individual students need to work on. Our self-paced online study platform is also available for those who want to do PSAT self-study or preparation, even if they're taking the ACT!

ACT TUTORING
For many students, the ACT is a better fit, whether because it is offered on paper as opposed to digitally, because the reading level of the passages is different, or because of one of the other differences in required tasks or content. Our tutors share both content and strategy so that students know exactly what they'll see, how to approach it, and how to maximize their points in the given time. Other Tutoring
Because our tutors have a wide range of content and test-specific expertise, we can offer prep for select AP and IB exams, as well as a variety of other tests. We also offer study skills coaching and some subject-specific tutoring.
